KRUSAN Chlorhexidine 0.5% solution is developed for professional veterinary use as a disinfectant for skin and wound care procedures. The product has bactericidal and fungicidal effect and is suitable for use in connection with obstetrics, dental procedures, wound treatment and other veterinary applications.

Chlorhexidine gluconate provides rapid action combined with a long-lasting disinfectant effect when used on skin. The active ingredient maintains efficacy in the presence of organic material such as blood. The product does not penetrate intact skin barriers.

The solution is intended for dilution to a 0.05% working solution, corresponding to 10 ml concentrate per 1 litre of water.
